11/25/96 DogWorld 1.54. Added small amount of cleanup code to prevent
false attacks upon entering the game after a system crash
during an online battle. Added requested "BEZERK" fighting
mode to help from wearing out that "A" key. <G>

running away from an enemy. Extends the bad words filter
to include the daily news.

"Some Wounds" at the Vet. Wounds were being
healed even when player had run out of bones.

Fixes stat line when burying or digging all bones &
suppresses the display of the first letter of a
secret code.

fixes that problem.

multinode support was turned off. Fixed bug that was causing
females not to have puppies. (clean mode off only).
08/14/96 DogWorld 1.43. Now the Dog Catcher's Hit Points and Strength
are adjustable using the DogEdit program. These two fields
can be found under "Game Options" inside DogEdit. I found
that the Dog Catcher was almost unbeatable in all previous
versions. The default values for Dog Catcher Strength and
Hit Points have been reduced quite a bit too.

player used one of the 3 one-liners. Fixed bug in display of
bones needed in "Listen about Enemies". Fixed a couple of name
color-code translation errors. Fixed bug with bank bones going
negative during mainenance.
ADDITIONS:
* Added 3RDPARTY.MNU to the files that are backed up and restored
during the upgrade process so that IGM info is not destroyed.
* Added adjustable time-slicing via DogEdit. This setting will adjust
time-slicing between 0-4 ticks in most of the "PAW a KEY" prompts
where DogWorld polls the system for mail and online battles.
07/20/96 DogWorld 1.40. Listen to Mrs. Phillips menu now works for female
dogs. Players can no longer "fight" against themselves or "hump"
themselves. They can still send theirselves mail though. <G>
Changed text in obdeniece school so that on level 12 DogWorld
says, "Your trainer is....NO ONE! School's Out!" Stray ansi color
code is now gone in DOGTXT.DAT. Typo in LEVELTXT.DAT has been
corrected. DogWorld now has a "cleaner" clean mode.

* Romance Editor added to the DogEdit program. You can now change
all the data contained in the ROMANCE.DAT file using DogEdit if
the game is registered - (send in your registration)!

"multinode" toggle in DogEdit. Added 5 more lines of information
to the custom INFO.x dropfile which is created prior to running an
IGM. Externalized the news items that are added to the "Daily Herald"
every day. These items are contained in the file, DAILYTXT.DAT, and
can be changed by the sysop. Changed many of the enemies and death
sayings in the ENEMY.DAT file.
07/08/96 DogWorld 1.20a. Minor change to DOGTXT.DAT file to improve
preformance with slow (ie, 2400 or less) modems. Edited all
screens to insure each ansi line starts with an escape
sequence which is what my display routine is keyed into.
07/04/96 DogWorld 1.20. Added Rip command to closing clean-up code to
Kill all mouse fields, clear screen and reset text window
to full screen. Externalized the text that is displayed when a
player beats an obdience school trainer. Made slight change to

random event to City Park. Made slight change to the Rip icon
detection code.

full-screen backgrounds under Rip 2.x. Added color support to the
external "NEWS FLASH" text files - fixes a minor glitch with
players using color codes in their names.

a player is deleted because of inactivity. Not released to public.
06/27/96 DogWorld 1.0b. Fixes problems with share-violations on networks.

file-locking routines. Fixed problem with Rip 2.x icon detection.
